Laminated glass is widely used in the field of architectural glass, which is also called safety glass. Laminated glass literally means the glass composed of multiple layers. In addition to the glass, the rest is the interlayer in the middle of the glass. Generally, there are three kinds of interlayer: EVA, PVB and SGP.

PVB interlayer confidence is one of the more familiar names. PVB is also the commonly used laminated material for architectural glass and Car glass.

The storage process and processing method of PVB interlayer are more complex than EVA, with higher requirements for temperature and humidity. When PVB is processing the lamination, it requests that the temperature be controlled between 18 ℃ -23 ℃, the relative humidity be controlled between 18-23%, and PVB adhere to the moisture content of 0.4% -0.6%. After the process of preheating, rolling or vacuuming, the Autoclave is used to stop heat preservation and pressure maintaining. The Autoclave temperature is 120-130 ℃, pressure: 1.0-1.3MPa, time: 30-60min. The demand for PVB complete sets of consumer equipment is around 1 million yuan, which poses certain difficulties for small enterprises. 

The full name of EVA is ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer. Because of its strong water resistance and corrosion resistance, it is widely used in packaging films, functional greenhouse films, foamed shoe materials, Hot-melt adhesive, wires and cables, toys and other fields.

EVA is also used as the interlayer of Laminated glass, and its cost performance ratio is expected to be high. Compared with PVB and SGP, EVA has better activity, lower ablation temperature, and can be processed when the temperature reaches about 110 ℃. The demand for a complete set of consumer equipment is around 100000 yuan.

The film layer of EVA has good activity, and can stop the process of wire clamping and rolling in the film layer, creating beautiful decorative glass with patterns and patterns. EVA has good water resistance, but it is resistant to chemical radiation and is prone to yellowing and blackening in long-term sunlight. Therefore, it is mainly used for indoor partitions.

The full name of SGP is SentryGlasPlus, which is a high-performance interlayer material developed by DuPont. Its high performance is manifested in:

      1. Excellent mechanical properties and high strength. Under the same thickness, the bearing capacity of SGP interlayer is twice that of PVB; Under the same load and thickness, the bending deflection of SGP Laminated glass is one fourth of that of PVB;

      2. Tear resistance. At the same thickness, the tear strength of PVB adhesive film is 5 times that of PVB, and it can still be adhered to the glass under tearing conditions without causing the entire glass to fall off.

      3. Strong stability and moisture resistance. The SGP laminated film is colorless and transparent. After long-term exposure to sunlight and rain, it is resistant to chemical radiation and is not prone to yellowing. The yellowing coefficient is less than 1.5, but the yellowing coefficient of the PVB laminated film is 6-12. Therefore, SGP is the favorite of ultra white Laminated glass.
