Why do you need reverse bending glass tempering equipment?

The main function of the reverse-bent glass tempering furnace is to avoid direct contact between the coating or ink surface and the transfer roller, thereby meeting the growing demand for high-quality curved tempered glass.

For Low-E coated glass with good energy-saving effect, the integrity of its film layer is crucial. Taking insulating glass as an example, in order to ensure the effectiveness of its film layer, the film layer of insulating glass must be firmly sealed between two tempered glass components. Typically, Low-E coatings are placed on the inside of exterior glass to ensure its energy-efficient performance.

Since the glass curtain walls on the outside of many buildings are now designed in a wavy shape, and curved tempered Low-E insulating glass must be used; this requires the forward curved insulating glass and the reverse curved insulating glass to be connected one by one to ensure that the Low-E film layer is in the curved position. At the same position of the tempered insulating glass, this not only achieves the appearance design of the wavy glass curtain wall but also ensures various design performances of the curtain wall;

The arcing action of the existing curved tempered glass equipment is upward. In order to prevent the ceramic roller from scratching the film layer, the film layer of Low-E glass is upward in the heating furnace (the center of the curved glass is above the horizontal plane of the equipment), forming Concave glass; but the convex surface of continuous wave Low-E or S-curved glass (the center of the curved glass is below the horizontal plane of the device) can only be achieved through reverse-bending equipment.
